Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Madeinindia Beads, we take great care in quality checking, packing, and dispatching every order. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.

Order Cancellation Policy

  • Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Inventory is automatically updated after payment, therefore cancellations are not possible.
  • Customers are requested to review their cart carefully before making payment.
  • No refund will be issued for cancelled orders after payment.

Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

Although every order undergoes quality and quantity checks before dispatch, customers must inspect their parcel immediately upon delivery.

To report any damaged, missing, or incorrect item:

  • Complaint must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • An uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory.
  • Video must clearly show the sealed parcel being opened and all contents visible.
  • Photo evidence alone will not be accepted.

Claims submitted after 24 hours of delivery may not be considered.

Refund & Compensation

For approved claims involving damaged, missing, or incorrect items, customers may choose any one of the following:

Option 1: Store Credit

Credit note issued for use in a future order.

Option 2: Wallet / UPI Refund

Refund processed to Wallet or UPI on the same day after verification.

Option 3: Bank Transfer

Refund processed within 2 business days after claim approval.

Please note:

  • Refunds are applicable only for the affected item(s).
  • Refunds are not issued for the complete order unless approved by management.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return & Exchange Policy

Due to the nature of beads, jewelry findings, craft supplies, and imitation jewelry-making materials:

  • No return or exchange is accepted if the customer simply does not like the product.
  • No return or exchange is accepted due to personal preference, color expectation, project suitability, or change of mind.
  • Customers may request additional live photos or videos before placing an order.

If a return is exceptionally approved:

  • Customer must arrange return shipping at their own expense.
  • Pickup service is not available.
  • Products must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
  • Returned products showing signs of use, damage, tampering, or missing packaging will not be accepted.

Sale Category Products

Items sold under the SALE category are clearance or economical-grade products.

For SALE category items:

  • No return
  • No exchange
  • No refund
  • No complaint will be entertained

These products are recommended for experienced crafters who can repair, modify, or creatively use economical-quality materials.

Metal Findings & Plated Products

Many jewelry findings and metal components are plated by third-party vendors.

Therefore:

  • No guarantee or warranty is provided on plating or polishing.
  • Tarnishing, fading, color changes, or wear after use are natural characteristics of plated products.
  • No complaints will be accepted after usage.
  • Anti-Tarnish products are covered only if specifically mentioned in the product description.

Product Variations

Please note:

  • Product colors may vary slightly due to different screen settings and devices.
  • Sizes are approximate and may vary slightly.
  • Customers should carefully review size charts and scale images before ordering.
  • Handmade items may contain minor scratches, marks, polishing patches, or natural variations which are not considered defects.

Stock Availability

While we maintain accurate inventory, some products may occasionally become unavailable due to offline sales or inventory updates.

In such cases:

  • Our team will contact you.
  • Similar or substitute products may be offered.
  • Customers may choose an alternative item of equal value.

Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Some products are manufactured or procured specifically upon order.

  • Production may require 3–4 working days or longer.
  • Such orders cannot be cancelled once production begins.
  • Delivery timelines may vary depending on manufacturing requirements.

International Orders

For international orders:

  • Import duties, customs charges, taxes, and local fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
  • In case of temporary stock shortages, similar alternatives may be offered.
  • Paid international orders cannot be cancelled after processing.
